Blizzard added an achievements page to WotLK that offers 'points'(?) for accomplishing feats which include PVP, Questing, Leveling, Exploration, and other things such collecting. Of course, these are expected to change at the release of the beta and live WotLK. Either way around it is a new interesting yet very odd addition to the game.

To access it you have to type in '/ach' when in-game.
