Grobbulus

Grobbulus is the second boss of the Construct Quarter in Naxxramas.

Grobbulus has three main mechanics to worry about: Slime Spray, Poison Cloud, and Mutating Injection.

Slime Spray will deal nature damage to anyone within his range and in his front 180 degree arc, and will also spawn Fallout Slimes for every person hit. The solution to this is for the MT to be the only person hit by this. Keep melee behind the boss, and have casters stay behind him as well.

Poison Clouds spawn over time where Grobbulus is standing. These will deal large amounts of AoE nature damage over time, and will last for a long time. Therefore, the tank must move Grobbulus around the room. Due to the duration of the clouds, either moving clockwise or counter-clockwise around the edge of the room works well.

Mutating Injection is a poison debuff that Grobbulus will apply to players. When this debuff ends, either naturally or through removal, a poison cloud is spawned where that player was standing, dealing a large amount of initial damage and causing more over time if that player does not move. As such, healers should not cleanse the poison, but instead should watch for the initial damage once the debuff wears off. The player injected should run to any spot where the cloud will mix in with the natural cloud from Grobbulus. Good examples of this are in between poison clouds if there is room to move between them, up the ramp that Grobbulus pats down before the fight, or at the end of the "trail" of poison clouds.
