The Oculus will be the second wing of the Nexus, a 5-man Dungeon meant for level 80 players, located in the Coldarra region of the Borean Tundra.
The Oculus is unique due to its non-linear design and the use of Drakes as a type of combat. What this means is that instead of choosing 5 players based on their class and talents to balance out your group you could essentially take five players of any class into the instance since you will not use your own abilities but those of your drake. Heroic Version of this instance appeared on beta build 8926, however it was disabled because of a problem with a portal inside the instance. There is an Achievement associated with killing all of the bosses in this instance on Heroic Mode: Heroic The Oculus <NYI>. Awards 10 Achievements Points.
